Take & bake scone instructions

  1. Preheat the oven
Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Let it fully preheat before baking.

  2. Prepare the baking sheet
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.

  3. Place the frozen scones on the sheet
Take the scones straight from the freezer—do not thaw them.
Space them about 2 inches apart so they bake evenly.

  4. (Optional) Add toppings
If you like, brush the tops lightly with milk or cream and sprinkle with sugar for a golden, crisp top.

  5. Bake the scones
Put the baking sheet on the middle rack of the oven.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the scones are:

    • Golden brown on top

    • Firm to the touch

  6. Check for doneness
If the bottoms are golden and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, they’re done.

  7. Cool slightly
Remove from the oven and let the scones cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before serving.

Tips

  • If your scones are large or very thick, they may need 2–5 extra minutes.

  • For extra crisp edges, bake directly from frozen without crowding the pan.
